  1. Hello I want to understand this part . Sew the two pieces together. Place a few pipe cleaners to create some sort of structure in and Split the body into the legs. Each leg hole should have 24 stitches each. A leg hole can be created by going across the body and creating a stitch with that stitch. thank you 🙂

    • For the tail: Since you have created two for the tail, sew them on top of each other. Place pipe cleaners or something sturdy in between the two layers to make the tail more sturdy.

For the legs. You are splitting the body opening into two legs. So you are going to crochet across the opening in order to create two openings from one. To do this you have to keep crocheting until you reach the middle of the body then create a slip stitch with a stitch on the opposite side. Then you just continue crocheting with just that one leg hole you created (which is 24 stitches). After you finish with that leg, finish the other leg by attaching yarn.

  3. Hi, I’m making this for my son and am just about to start the legs. I understand how to split it into two to create the legs but how do I attach yarn to create the second leg? Sorry – I’ve only been crocheting for a few weeks! Thanks 🙂

  4. What kind of yarn did you use for this? Did you used regular worsted weight? If so did you use multiple strands together to make it larger? Or did you use a bulky yarn? Thanks so much!
