  7. Look to see where the top of the foot should be. We are only going to increase in this part of the foot from now own. Make sure to add a marker. I added a marker to make sure that I am only increasing in the top 9 stitches. This will create the foot for the bunny. So for the 9 stitches I did 2sc in each of those stitches. Now I have 27 stitches.

Inner Parts of Ears (Make 2):

  1. Trace out the ears on white or cream colored felt.
  2. When you cut them out, cut a little bit inside the lines so that they are not too big when you sew them onto the ears.
  3. You have to be able to see the pinks of the ears when you sew them on.
  4. Use brown floss or embroidery thread to sew them on. Remember to use a sewing needle instead of a darning needle because the darning needle isn’t going to be sharp enough to sew through felt.
  5. You want to do some sort of blanket stitch to sew the felt onto the ears.
  6. If you don’t want to do a blanket stitch then you can do a hemming stitch.
  7. I did the hemming stitch and went around the perimeter with the brown thread.

Skirt:

  1. With dark pink yarn. Chain 24.
  2. Sc in all chains starting from second chain from hook. [23]
  3. Slip stitch with second chain from hook. (Skip a chain, 5dc in next chain, skip a stitch, slip stitch in next chain) Repeat until the end.
  4. F.O.
  5. At this point you should have 6 shells.
  6. Sew this around the bunny’s waist.
  7. Depending on how much you stuffed the dolls, her waist could be larger or smaller than mine. Adjust accordingly.

For her eyes I used the same type of eyes as I did for the sackboy dolls I made. You could use a smaller size since her head a bit smaller. Also, for her nose I embroidered a triangular shape on her nose. You can also use felt to glue the nose on. Since this is going to be a baby’s doll, I did not glue anything on it.
