Review: Mother’s Day
This is one of the few girly movies I will watch in the theater. I typically wait to see these types of movies online or on DVD. I just really liked the cast and my fiance was nice enough to see it with me. If you don’t know what this movie is about, the title says it all. It’s all about mothers and their impact on our lives. No matter how bad your relationship is with your mother, you still need that motherly figure in your life. I have a really good relationship with my mom and this made me teary eyed a couple of times. I just tugs at the heart strings and even if you don’t like chick flicks, go see this one. If you don’t have a good relationship with your mom, it will make you appreciate your mother more. I really enjoyed this film and I hope you will too.
I thought the acting was good and it was also funny in all the right parts. It was just a really fun movie to see. I was afraid that it might be a little bit too girly, but it really wasn’t. I just loved Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts in this movie.
I really don’t want to say anything more about it because I don’t want to ruin it for you guys. This is one of those films that you just have to see for yourself. It’s not a super complicated plot but it gets it’s point across. Go see it with friends, go see it with your mom. Let me know your thoughts if you’ve seen this. I would love to know what you think of this movie.
